I believe America has finally reached that point at which change must be recognized. Here we have a candidate who represents a cross-cultured population, who brings new meaning to politics throughout this great nation. Leaving race out of our vocabulary, this is a man who promotes change, truth, equality, acceptance and inevitabilty. Obama, is what this still young country needs. Senator Obama, you are in my prayers along with your entire family. God Bless!
I was one of the lucky ones... inside Reynolds Coliseum to see the Obamas as fans went crazy and the Presidential couple modestly celebrated their hard-won victory. One question: Who was the woman who introduced the Obamas? I didn't hear her name or claim to fame... why was SHE chosen to make the introduction? Curious...
Was it a short black lady with a high pitched voice?
No, she was white. I didn't recognize her from the university. Forty-ish, wore a t-shirt and skirt, short dark hair. Who the heck?
