Planned Parenthood Defends Obama in Video Ad

McCain Playing Sexist Card

The Obama campaign has not been acting sexist and I think most people see through the McCain camp's "crocodile tears." The ad touts that Palin will prove her critics wrong, but there will be tough times for her in the coming weeks as she is exposed by the very media she talked down to at the RNC.

Obama Attacks Back With Humor

This new ad hits McCain on his internet illiteracy and age.

Ed Koch Says Palin is "Scary"

Former NY Mayor Ed Koch, who backed Bush in 2004, has thrown his support behind Obama, citing among other reasons that Palin is "scary." More via Ben Smith at Politico.

McCain "Education" Ad Labeled Perverse

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said of the ad, "It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls - a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn't define what honor was. Now we know why."

More via The Huffington Post
on what the articles cited in the ad had to say about McCain.

Update: Planned Parenthood comes to Obama's defense.

The World Wants Obama

According to a new BBC poll, Obama is the preferred candidate over McCain in all 22 countries covered by the poll.

This poll comes on the heels of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's glowing remarks about Obama and the democrats.

Lipstick On A Pig

Here is a clip showing Obama at a town hall meeting in Lebanon, Virginia. His comment “You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig,” has the McCain camp up in arms and crying sexism, although Barack says he was not referring to Palin. Obama also said, “You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called ‘change,’ it’s still going to stink,” Obama said. “After eight years, we’ve had enough of the same old thing. It’s time to bring about real change to Washington and that’s the choice you’ve got in this election.”

Here is a portion of the McCain campaign's ad, which make the remarks out to be sexist. CBS had YouTube remove the video and will not air the ad, calling it misleading. More on that via Ben Smith. This particular clip shows more than the ad though, going on to show McCain using the lipstick on a pig quote cracking on Hilary.

Here is a full version of the ad:

Barack has replied "These are serious times and they call for a serious debate...spare me all the phony outrage. Spare me all the phony talk about change." He also had this to say:
